300 win Mag vs 280 AI

with recoil in the back of your mind, install an ultradyne LR brake. your rifle is 6.2 pounds, with a 22 oz scope. the brake is 6-8 oz, which is half the weight of the lightest can, and shorter too. it will take about 10% more recoil off than a can. now its very loud, but worth it. I also run side ported brakes vs omni directional, that way you don't blow up debris to obscure you in the prone.

You shoot the 280 better. I say go that way. It works on moose and elk. If you ever go for big bear or tougher game, the 9.3x62 will work.

The real answer is keep them all and put a MB on the 300 so it's useable.
The recoil isn't even horrible on the 300, I just keep thinking it should be and it's distracting me from holding 3 rds into a good group with that pencil barrel lol

This is the route I am leaning though, gonna pick up some more Nosler Accubonds to try and see what I can get it to do
