So no one has used or thought about using Rapid Radios? 10-9 over?
Is the MRX10 a repeater for a CB??

Looks like the Rapid Radios use cellular towers. Pull up one of the many maps of cellular coverage to determine if where you will be will have coverage.

We were talking across town, about 2 miles or so through town. Up on a Mountain, don't know yet.
@kanab ram : What radio service was the online test for? Was there a fee?

For shorter distances or cobra business walkies work well and have held up in the rain.

Living my Rocky Talkie non gmrs. Battery life is as stated and is a rugged, well built unit with great performance in the woods so far.
