Opinions on scope rings for x-bolt

I prefer avoiding pic rails unless they are bedded. They also usually make it a little tougher to mount the scope low, which I prefer. I used Leupold rings on my Xbolt and they never have given me a problem.

Look in the classifieds on here. Someone had a bunch of different makes of rings for a good deal. And he did list Abolt
If you are going with a Vortex scope, use Vortex Rings. I have found them to be especially good for high recoiling rifles. I have been using the Vortex Pro rings on 30-06, 300 and 338 Win Mags with great success. They hold well, never had any movement and they are reasonably priced.

I use Burris XTR Signature rings on all my rifles. Never had an issue with slippage and they leave ZERO ring marks on the scope tube.

I only use Murphy Precision pic rails. They are the best to be had in my opinion. Also, you give them a call and Cameron Murphy, the owner, usually answers the phone. Not only will he answer any questions but will also make a custom rails to your specs.

Looking at mounting a scope on a new browning x-bolt 300 win mag. Thinking about getting the vortex viper 4x16x50. Any recommendations on scope rings?
I have an a bolt, not sure how closely built they are, I have a 40 mm scope on it if I was to mount a 50 mm it would take taller basses than stock.
