Gemsbok 25 Creedmoor

Kyle shot this Gemsbok with a 25 Creedmoor running a 24" Brux barrel, 1-7TR, running a MV of 3011 FPS. At a distance of 160 yards the bullet broke shoulder at the point of impact and fully exited the opposite shoulder. The Gemsbok ran 10 yards and dropped.

Safe to say it was a Hammer, but I too am curious which one. I am a big 25 CM fan

Probably the HHT since that's what is in the top right corner of the photo. Just my guess.

Great trophy! Beautiful rifle! Congrats on a successful hunt! Lots of people would say that is too small a bullet and cartridge for that notoriously tough animal. Well done.

i think they are one of the best looking animals in africa, i have taken two. both with a 300 win mag with 180gr bullets running 3000 fps.
