I am messing around with a REM 721 with a hinged floorplate and having feeding problems. Seems like the follower has all kinds of room to move around. As a result, I have to load each round very carefully on the follower with slant slightly sideways causing feeding problems. Did the 721 come with a magazine box?

The 721 and 722 came with a magazine box, but not a hinged floor plate.

Been gone a few days. Guess what? I started rummaging through my tub of spare parts after reading the rifle came with a magazine. I found it! I have no idea how long I had been using the rifle without it. I had always used it as a single shot! I put the magazine in and my problem was solved. What a knucklehead! LOL.
