REM 721 QUESTION

Been gone a few days. Guess what? I started rummaging through my tub of spare parts after reading the rifle came with a magazine. I found it! I have no idea how long I had been using the rifle without it. I had always used it as a single shot! I put the magazine in and my problem was solved. What a knucklehead! LOL.

The 721-722 Remington rifles had problems with either bad stock fir, Or the wood crushing in the stock a bit. The floor plate and action would clamp tight on the the magazine and not pull the action tight against the stock. Had to file the bottom of some 721-722 and 700 magazines so the magazine would have clearance between the action and floor plate.
