MOA, 2nd Focal Plane, is best for hunting at all ranges.

I love them. I have MOA in all my scopes. My first one was with a Gunwerks MOA reticle and I would have it in every scope if I could. I have taken animals to 850 yards with them and never had any issues.
Ive been hunting for a G7 reticle version for a while, and boy are they hard to find! Great reticle!

Had a scope mounting party last night and found out the NX8 2.5-20 will require high rings to be mounted on my Seekins. With the scope being shorter from the turrets to the front objective, it hits the rail. Had no issues mounting my brother's and stepdad's 4-32 NX8s on their Seekins and Fierce but the tube is noticeably longer. Im going to have to get high rings and hope it fixes the problem.

Or cut the rail?

Definitely an option. It's the rail that comes on them from the factory. Figured easiest solution was rings but if they were too high or didn't work I would have possibly done that. Luckily the higher rings worked and don't seem to have any issues.
Same here. Never had an eye box issue. Just bought a 4th one.
