Took a friend elk hunting couple years ago. He needed a rifle so he bought a Browning Hells Canyon LR in 300 Win. I set it up for him and did load development. 199 HH at 3000 fps. Groups real well. Anyway I really liked the rifle so I bought one in 6.8 Western. Shoots 156HH at 3130fps. Could go faster but consistently shoots 3 shots touching at 100 yards. Got a couple backyard whitetails with it but no major hunting. Leupold VX 5HD cerekoted to match. Also put in aftermarket trigger. Timney IIRC.
