It looks like I'm a little late to the party here, I've taken a break from shooting and reloading, (6years or so over a divorce ) but I've recently decided to start reloading for my 300wsm. I've been shooting factory Norma ammo with 150gn BT at whitetails, so I have Norma and some Nosler brass (50 each). I plan to continue hunting Missouri whitetail, but add Texas pigs, and bear, mule deer, antelope and possibly elk out west. It was my daddy's dream to hunt out west, but we lost him last November. So my cousin and I are going to start going west each year to hunt something, somewhere. I've decided on the Nosler 165 accubond to start with, but it seems like a lot of good powders have been discontinued since I've taken my little break, and my manuals doesn't list some of the newer stuff that's out there. I'd like to find something with good velocity and not temp sensitive if possible. What are your favorite powders for the 300wsm for the accubond as of late?

H4350 would be a solid place to start.
*Probably not the fastest FPS but NOT temp sensitive.

This place is great to do business with and it appears H4350 is in stock and on sale (Maybe cheaper somewhere else).

I'm sure someone local to you has it as well. Hazmat and shipping is expensive for 1-2 lbs. I usually order 8-16lbs at a time, and it is usually worth it vs. paying local prices.

Likely usable starting point below, especially the 165 Nosler Partition data.

I've made a switch to mostly
Vihtavuori powders.
Since you got out of reloading the Vihtavuori powders are available and close to the least expensive. For your application I would recommend
N-550 ,555 ,560. I personally like 560.

Thanks for the replies. I got out and shot a bit today just to get reacquainted with the ol girl. Ive never shot past 300, but today I was talked into sending a couple at the plate. It's 423 yards down a water way. Anyway. The first shot barely clipped the edge at 5 o'clock and the second landed a bit more solid. This was with factory Norma ammo loaded with a 150gn BT. Soon as this ammo is shot up I'll start loading the 165gn accubonds. We just practicing for now. I know everyone likes pictures. Here's my lowly

First off sorry for your loss. Wish you success in the out west adventures. It's great just being out there. Animals are a bonus.
Secondly don't call that Browning lowly by any means. I own one in 6.8 western and it's a rock star. All the Browning hells canyons I've shot have been outstanding. 300 WSM is a great cartridge too.
Good luck!

Thanks. So these things are kind of addicting. I just got this one last week in 6.5 PRC.
