Krieger barrels
Krieger is a big operation; they employ 26 people and usually have 15-16 people on the production floor. They have averaged 12,000 cut rifled barrels per year for the last 4 years on 5 Pratt and Whitney twin spindle riflers, 4 twin spindle gun drills, 2 twin spindle reamers, and one six spindle...www.bugholes.com
One of a kind stuff takes longer. Doesn't matter which maker. Unique twist etc. I know getting Bartlien to 32" required a tooling change, increased expense, and time. Not any that are 36"
I agree, knew it would be longer....just didn't know if this was the norm? One of a kind stuff takes longer. Doesn't matter which maker. Unique twist etc. I know getting Bartlien to 32" required a tooling change, increased expense, and time.
Yeap. Last one I ordered was a 15 month wait. I got lucky and had it in 12 lol.Is 15 month delivery time excessive for a barrel from Kreiger, or is this about normal?
