Good luck! It should be an awesome rut hunt. I hope you see and hear lots of bulls and get one that makes you happy. I hunted Wasatch late rifle in mid November 2016. We were chasing a 370"-380" bull for 4 days and saw him every day through our spotters but he was always a mile or two away in heavy oak brush and we could never catch up to him. I ended up shooting a huge bodied 7 1/2 year old 320" bull at 450 yards.
I really enjoy trout fishing! On ultra light tackle or fly is a blast!
We have some self reproducing rainbows in a couple areas. Which is rare here as we have very few cold water streams for larger trout species.. I have caught a number of 5-6lb + out of the two spots local to me. They are rare. Ultra light spin or flyvrod are both a great time.
Have been enjoying going after snakehead lately as we have them in the potomac water system. When they see the boat or your shadow they flip out. But man are they good eating. The flesh is sweet. Very similar to crappy in flavor. But smoked trout.... yum.

My son and I have Nv. buck tags, and my son drew a Nv. bull tag. Both in Oct. Since I relocated 2300mi east beginning of last month, I can't come home for the whole month so I turned in my deer tag and will come home for the last two weeks to accompany my son on his elk hunt. Not sure if I can hunt deer in my new state this year or not, still trying to figure that out.
I have SC bear, OH whitetails, MT elk (bow), and WV whitetails, black bears, squirrels, rabbits, raccoons, and coyotes on the menu this year. Will probably do a SC and a WV dove hunt as well.

Thank you! Sounds like you had a great hunt and killed an awesome bull. I'll be hunting the Wasatch also. Sound be peak rut.
