I think Pro has been gone for a couple of years.

He was ahead of the curve on Public Health issues too, but that didn't go over so well here

I really like both and enjoyed reading their opinions, a dang shame.

While I don't agree completely with the hammer crowd, it doesn't keep me from appreciating their product, especially when Fordy puts it out there in no uncertain terms, proof in the pudding. He did not hesitate to respond with factual information and he used smaller calibers and hammer bullets to kill some impressively sized animals.

Bullets are getting akin to politics on most sites, kinda like optics, rifles and vehicles.

It's unfortunate, hopefully the situation can be resolved and both be allowed back.

On a different forum was called many curse words by a moderator. I didn't reply with any curse words or any negativity, but I got reported. Some sites are operated and run by morons! I guess it all comes down to who you know, not what you can prove.

Indeed. I have no desire or intent to deliberately go against forum rules that I freely agreed to, but neither do I intend to walk on egg shells for anyone or any reason.

We also should know if there was any kind of warning or if we're playing a "one strike you're out" kind of ball game here.

Heck BFD guns, or was it Gingerman, or maybe DoneNOut was allowed back in here after a few months to settle down. I actually got along with him just fine after we had it out about some things and then talked in private haha, but I'm sad to say he went on to do exactly the same kind of crap that got him banned the first time.


I REALLY don't think that would happen with Fordy, and I honestly do suspect it's only because he replied to a post that contained excessively vulgar language and didn't censor out the text he was replying to.


I will say, I've appreciated the site being kept civil more or less and for now I'm trusting that this issue is an honest mistake that will be resolved or elaborated upon. I've never seen it happen that this many people raise their voice of concern over a member having been banned, even if we've personally been friends with some of our former members, we've seen how they kind of reaped what they sewed and had it coming.

Fordy did not have this coming.

@Len Backus we'd all really appreciate some more information about Fordy. As I've said earlier, I don't know if it's ever happened that someone has been banned and this many members have said "hey that can't be right!"

And I'll encourage everyone else, for the time being, let's give the moderators and site owner the benefit of the doubt until such evidence emerges as to warrant its withdrawal. I really have appreciated how civil this forum has been kept compared to many others. And I've appreciated that for the most part it's not like they're looking over our shoulders all the time dictating what we can and can't say. As I've said, I'm sure this is a misunderstanding. I hope I'm not wrong. Time will tell.

Realistically, we don't deserve anything. No one "deserves" anything. We are utilizing a free website operated by strangers under their rules. I would like an explanation, and it would benefit the community here to know what happened and why so that it can be avoided by others in the future, but we don't "deserve" a dang thing.

The banning of the first one was intentional for very crude.
