Happy - Primers, Large Rifle Rem 9 1/2's

Just bought a 1,000 at Scheel's, Missoula. Looks like they had 15 bricks of 1,000.
$94.99 with 5% veteran's discount.

That's not bad. Selway Armory wanted $175 for LR primer last visit.

I'm never lucky enough to acquire ANY primers within 100 miles of me. Well, maybe #41's and only with a 100 limit.

I just wish people would let them sit on the shelves when significantly over priced. I understand the mentality of "get them when you find them", but I hate rewarding those that gouge their customers.

I don't do any loading with Remington's, but at that price and availability…..I could adapt! memtb

I've been watching some CCI BR primers selling at $179.00 for almost 3 months. I hope they continue to stay on the shelf at that price.

Back in December they were going for $79.95 at the Reno Scheels. I picked up the last 3 Bricks of Federal 210's. I've been back 4 more times and the stock has not been replenished. I'm told that more LRP will return to the shelves in April tho so maybe the price will be more favorable.

What type of primers?

Winchester magnum LR are $79 at Billings, MT Scheels. Not terrible.

i' ve seen LRP on the market more and more here lately.

The price that they are charging makes me choke!! Luckily I
have enough to wait em out!

Agreed - I know we used to be able to get 1k primers for $35, but that's not going to happen again. I stacked components deep when things were cheaper as well, but I've been adding to my inventory as I use them
