Yup, I don't typically eat the big ones they get a little gamey but the 40-60 lbs are great

Hogs are a detriment to us. Turkey population gone way down since hogs took over.

Yep and they will continue. Buy or build a traps and traps. Befriend a guy will a dog or buy some and get more ammo. It is a war.

No, just a big completely feral hog. Not good for anything. We eat some of the smaller sows, but we aren't killing them for food. We are trying to exert some limitation on their population growth. But they grow larger in numbers and range every year.

Can you trap them? I forgot the details of what AR regs say. The wife and I just bought 4.5 ac sharing 970' boundary with a remote area of the Ouachita Nat'l Forest so I read some of the hunting regs awhile back. I know AR ain't like TX or OK when it comes to hog killin' year 'round.

We can kill them year round and trap them too. We just can't do it enough to make a dent in them.
