Smokeless Muzzleloader

What do you think of a Muzzler loader that supposed to equal a 338 Lapua with a 275 grain bull.
I have no clue about a Lapua. Never seen one or shot one.

However...... This is data from my muzzleloader and a 300gr bullet.

Muzzle velocity and muzzle energy my smokeless ML is very comparable to my 338 lapua improved but the 338 has double the bc

Total BS and needs to not be legal for hunting
But the Lapua is ok?

This is exactly the type post that hunters/shooters/competitors do not need. No one has to hunt with one if they don't want to. Because some want to shoot modern, that doesn't mean that its BS. We all have enough issues right now with the nut cases and those who want to completely ban ALL types of firearms. Yet there are those among us that, because its not THEIR way, or they disagree, its BS ????

I agree with to each his own, I don't think you should try to make something illegal just because you disagree with it. I love mine and use it in modern firearms season a lot of times but I don't think everyone else should have to do that just because I choose to. They are not legal to use everywhere in muzzle loading seasons you have to check the regulations in the state you are hunting in. I killed my biggest whitetail ever with mine, in modern firearms season btw.

I'm shooting a 275 grain leaving at about 3000 fps it's not that bad with a brake on it, and of course when that trophy is standing out there you don't feel a thing. LOL. The guns are pretty heavy. They are not the light weight back country hiking rifle you carry all day. When the brake comes off the boots come out though, you will know you been shooting the next day unless you are a younger man. I will admit though the main reason I bought mine was just laziness. I got tired of cleaning a gun every time I loaded it. LOL

Is that an encore conversion or some other platform?
Nope. It is a full blown custom 45cal. I shoot both SML and BH209. One week from today I'll be at Camp Atterbury shooting 350gr XLD bullets with 120grs VOLUME of BH209 at 800, 900, and 1,000yds. Velocity is 2173fps.

I don't think my shoulder could take the recoil from a 300 gr bullet at 2900fps with 5600lbs of energy at the muzzle ouch that's gonna hurt LMAO

The muzzle brake makes shooting the rifle a breeze. My great niece, soaking wet weighs about 100# and she'd shoot it all day long if you let her. That is a LR Customs muzzle brake. They work!

Its pretty accurate. Target was witnessed and signed by 3 others at the range.

I find that very interesting. I've been looking that muzzleloaders for a long time. I hadn't realize that a muzzleloader could achieve that. An easy 200yd+ rifle. Wanting know about make model, and caliber? Looks like I am going to have change my sights to a muzzleloader as the next project. Thanks for the input. Please advise. What you have put up here states a lot.
