I need up close magnification also as I use my STW to moose hunt and some of the shots are really close so trying to stay in the 3-4 power on the low end magnification. Thanks for the input so far.

Any suggestions for new glass on my STW? I put a Swarovski Z5 3.5-18x44 on my .270 WSM last year and quite like it, it has the ballistic turret which suits my needs for hunting. I have heard mixed reviews on the Huskemaw scopes so not sold on them. Any input from the Hood would be appreciated!!

Any real life results on how the 162 Gr A max handles moose and elk? I beleive the website says they can handle thin skinned game but has anyone used them on bigger game? How do they hold up at close range under 100 yards in particular? Thanks in advance.

I have several moose and deer kills with 160 AB out of my STW and all were one shot kills. I have been using the AB's in my .270WSM with great results also. I love them for hunting.

Looking at putting a bipod on my new coyote gun. Any makes and heights you guys recommend? Thanks in advance. Gun is Kimber Pro Varmint in .22-250.

I prefer the Bog Pod shooting sticks, I had the stoneys but found the Bog Pods to suit me better.
