You wouldn't do anything in your day either.

Why? Because it has nothing to do with individual fighters. If you start killing African nationals, you're going to the brig, and you potentially start an international incident. The DOD and state department are leasing resources from the locals. This is nothing new, when a guest in another country.


The issue is that everything down the ladder starting at the US president is SOFT on US foreign policy.

Dozens of countries are anti American and yet Americans still flock to them.

I will add, South Africa is a 3rd world country. How consequential is their current Gov leadership on the world stage? I think it is too bad that someone would cancel a trip that could be once in a lifetime for a current political climate. Not buying a scope or whatever because it is made in China, I get. They are a geo political enemy. They are working to take over South Africa and the more boycott of South Africa the poorer the country will become enabling China to walk in a scoop it up.

Anti hunters trying to legislate Western hunters out of hunting there and now hunters boycotting based on frivolous politics will just do more harm than good.

Worded well. I was a soldier and I followed orders. Rules of engagement are soft, not the soldiers. I admit some are soft, but it's always been that way. When politicians stop trying to fight a war from an office in Washington the American G.I. will show his full potential.

We employ 4-5 South African H2A workers each farming season.
The ones I have known are fantastic individuals. Educated, bi-lingual, polite MEN at age 18-25. Strong Christians.
Most are from farming families of some sort, game, crops etc.
It is terrible to hear of the conditions in that country.
The fools in charge "take back" what is "theirs" then don't know what to do with "it". So less food is produced, taxes collected etc.
What is truly amazing is how another country can try all this and starve/fail and the next door neighbor can't wait to jump in the same pool.
Kinda like socialism with our federal government.

South Africa is the S in BRICS, so naturally they will take the side of those they are in alignment with. Last I read SA was pushing the 2 state. Israel made a mistake supporting Hamas to help destabilize Palestine. Now they are paying for that like we did on 9/11.. allegedly, whatever you wanna believe about that day but it's an example.

I believe that is backwards. I don't ever see Israel supporting Hamas. The USA has lost on how to fight a war after WW 11. The Israel will get the job done shortly.
We have screw our solider over and over again and again. Especially after the draft was ended. Now our Armed forces can't fill there ranks. hell I won't go now either. They, and we have screwed the young men and women over that serviced.
A little history: I was a draftee, and serviced in the field of Vietnam. We had one arm tie behind us there. At that time is was either be drafted, join, go to jail, or run. F**Kg P Ford afterwards let the draft dodger back in free. Then Carter let the deserter's back in free. That ****ed me off to no end, and never forgot that either, nor forgave them either. I don't want to go into what I experience as a combat medic was, during that year. I had said after that if there was a world war again, I would go fight on the Israel Army side. They know how to fight a war. Blunder Biden doesn't have a clue. From the river to the sea should be Israel cry. Israel almost has Hamas there at the sea now. Iran needs to be stop too. Quit playing around with them.
Now back to the USA: They put our people into wars in the last two only to waste our people, and back into combat year after year. They use the National Guard wrong and done them dirty. 15 months at a time into both Iraq, and Afghan time after time. While the rest of us suck our thumbs. My tour was for 12 month and done, plus out of the Army.
Now what has happen to our men and women wasn't even fair, nor right.
Guess what this country wouldn't have stood for the draft again. All hell would have been cut loose.
So now we are in a pickel with our schools and teaching for the last 40 years. If we don't get on the right side of this. This country is done and out. So colleges and lower schools need a major change in direction. Need to retake the school boards back and Teach US History from the start. Learn the consitiution, and how it works. Not the Woke **** that's going on either.
These college's make me sick, and what they are doing. "Stupid is, Stupid does." These college have gotten so money hunry it is funny. These college student if not US Citizens, need to be return to there country, and not allow back. The people that have been arrested and charged. Need to be convicted. They need learn the hard way.

Actually I would have been in the brig for letting just anyone enter the Post. Refer to your General Orders. If it didn't matter we would not have wasted time checking POVs for explosives. And been issued ammo for guard duty. Now if they were informed ahead of time to stand down. Then there should be some investigations on why.
