I have had this knife for several years and although I am not a fan of liner locks, it has became one of my favorites.
Recently I loaned it to my son to strip some electric wires and the blade snapped off. Kershaw's web site asks $7 for shipping and $25 for non warranty work. I had also broken one of the clip screws off a year or two ago and had asked if possible that be fixed and replaced.
Because of the broken screw for the clip I kind of expected that would not be covered by the warranty but I was very pleasantly surprised with the promptness of service and the return of my check for shipping and non warranty work.
It was refreshing to see and just thought I would pass my experience along
