Eastern Turkey with clipped/barbed chest feathers????

Northern IL bird. Taxidermist says the breast feathers are unique and he hasn't seen many like this. I thought he called them clipped/barbed feathers?

Can someone explain what is different than another bird? I think the black tips are showing up more on this bird then typical, but not exactly sure what he is referring to. Thanks

NICE ONE, MY BUDDY IS STILL GOING STRONG. These pictures were taken this morning. Gobbles has been strutting for 6 weeks, tagged every female in the area.
He's my buddy. 👍
He has been following me around for over 3 years.

Only thing I can think is that the gold is striped looking before the black tip. Not usually like that. Zoom in on the pic and you can see it. Nice bird, congrats.
