GOD SAVE AMERICA 2023
I PRAY FOR ALL OF US, ESPECIALLY THE POOR BASTARDS THAT HAVE IRA's AND 401K's THAT HAVE LOST 20-30% and now have to go back to work or sell off processions just to pay for heating, food, gas. Their DREAMS of having a healthy financial retirement down the tubes. I would say most people feel like this is the Great Depression, but a lot of the MOST People are the ones collecting handouts from all the hard-working people.
Just love the way I left home when I was 17 and went into the Marines.
Now grown men and women live at home up to their 30s welching off their parents and waiting for the government to give them handouts from the hard-working taxpayers.
It is so hard for Jill and I because we saved and put away funds all out lives 50+ years thinking we could have a not super rich life, but comfortable, Savings are depleted, food and everything else has skyrocketed the economy sucks, try buying a vehicle or anything else. Can you believe EGGS are 50% more than December 2021.
We pray every day for basically ourselves because our lives are greatly affected.
One saving grace is that I get to go on LRH and have conversations or read other POSTS from other members. Seems like everyone is doing OK with building rifles, going on hunting trips, reloading, trading with each other. Glad to see that trading $$$ have not gone up too far. We still see LRM Members trading/selling and last year's or beyond prices. Also see some selling at today's higher prices or even next years.
Hey, it you want to sell something at higher/today's prices it is what the Market is dictating.
Just remember we are like a FAMILY on this FORUM. This is not GB and we all help each other out! Believe me it is a Circle with all of us. You help someone out today and hopefully a month or maybe a year you may get a good return. I know we have. We probably give away or sell at the prices we bought for more than anything. I am sure that there is a lot of LRH Members that read this and know the truth in what i am saying.
Just saying that these times are getting worse for the economy and let's take care of each other.
No matter how things are going WE- LRH Members really enjoy the stories, help on reloading/shooting/hunting and makes our days go by with the enjoyment that we all love our sport and most of all willing to help each other out.
As far as politics we try to keep out of this FORUM-BUT
WELL --- THE PEOPLE VOTED FOR THIS!!!!
So nothing is going to change until the PEOPLE change it. The politicians that are making policy changes are put in there by US (US meaning the people that vote).

The Vikings were forced to abandon their tiny struggling settlements in Greenland because global climate change events made it so cold their crops failed, and farm animals died. This past December has me planning for the next ice age.
I'm with you Brother, I retired last year, and after Losing, just like you and others did this year. This incompetent Morron thinks we are doing great. And Life is Great. You need to purchase the new seeds and animals that adapt to Climate Change, which was once called Global Warming! These seeds and animals can go from warm to cold or cold to warm. The Vikings have nothing on the Liberals!

Just my 2 cents, but liberals started this back in the 70's with Global cooling, from car exhaust.....then shifted to Global warming when we had a warming trend.....then shifted AGAIN to Climate Change, so no matter what the weather does, we can PROMISE to fix the weather with enough Other People's Money....Here's a tip. Over 30 years ago, anyone using Freon had to get a federal license, and the EPA certified teacher at my class, let us all know it was because "weather scientist's" claim Freon was depleting the ozone. He also informed us on the EPA's website, testing done in an attempt to prove it, instead proved the hole in the ozone was a natural, reoccurring phenomenon dating back to the Pharaohs at least, the time limit of the study. So even when they knew the truth, they did what? They lied....the study results as far as I know still exist.

Oh yes I remember in the 70's about the coming of the new ICE AGE and we had to take action immediately.
Now we are to be reliant on unreliable electric vehicles to combat this so called climate change.

Having high school flashbacks after reading these post. Early 70's in Socal, back when it was a great place to live a few teachers were freak'n out over global ice age coming, all ocean life would die by late 80's and the globe is over populated! One day I ask a teacher about over population "when's the last time you flew over Wyoming"? I got sent to the principals office.
Pretty sure my Principal and I were on a first name basis....just saying....I want to say all of our younger teachers were pushing rather "new" radical teachings, nothing compared to today, but radical for the time. I had an English Lit class and some of the required reading was mind melting. We had to read the "Red Badge of Courage" by an author who was involved in the civil war. I was a WW 2 history buff, so I saw it as the author describing the horrors of the civil war. Climate change has been proven over millenia. Around 1300 ad the SW US went thru a 100 year drought that wiped out the indigenous population. Tree ring data shows it in the record.
The only thing we have now is sensationalism for $ and downplaying natural events.
Hasn't the warm-up from the last ice age changed our world constantly? North America was a steamy hot jungle before the ice age. Guess that's not important.
I'm enjoying my climate change in AZ. Above average rainfall and the coolest November on record. More coming this week.

Here's the real rub: define what constitutes "climate change"? At least a definition that doesn't change with "political climate".
I think that's why the term was adopted. It has no parameters, it can be used when it rains, when it doesn't......it excuses wasteful use of water, and excuses a complete lack of effort to collect rain water instead using concrete water ways to send it into the ocean. The liberal motto, "Never let a crisis go to waste....or make up a new one"
