That is a great looking Custom stock! You will always enjoy something with sweat equity in it. Pillars and bedding will give you the best stock for accuracy too.
Always carry a toque, thermal headgear or balaclava and heavy wool socks. When your head is warm, you stay warm. Heavy socks keep your feet warm and allow for a quick trip outdoors without fumbling for boots.
Most European countries support suppressor use. The noise to surrounding homes and farms is reduced or eliminated. Non hunters don't like the shooting they hear, especially on opening day, and even gun ranges in urban settings could benefit from using them. I believe that the government knows by...
It's too bad Obama made it virtually impossible to buy anything from the USA and ship it to Canada (ITAR). They are great scopes, and at the price you have them listed for I could understand why someone says they are listed too cheap. Someone will get a great deal, it chokes me that I can't.
I had a few friends try and bug me about the money I have in boots. They will spend thousands on a bed you spend 7 hours a day in, but not spend 4 or 5 hundred on boots you are in 12 to 14 hours a day? If you can't sleep, hike, or work because your feet are hurting good boots are cheap.

Looking at the bolt near the bolt handle it looks like the metal has sheared? A gunsmith could give you an assessment of condition and solid advice whether you choose to do the work yourself or hire it out.
Some rifles and rounds have a different percieved recoil to me. I wouldn't shoot my 338LM in a chassis without a brake, but the 458 in a Winchester Supergrade feels like a shove more than a thump even though it is the lighter rifle?
I don't like to say (or think) it, but projectile and powder availability may be a consideration for the near future? The 7 Max may be a great option with the 6.5 Creedmore being the darling right now?
Brian, I just had the same issue in a new Sendero in 300 WM. I bedded it, changed trigger, bedded rail and went out to break it in. Brass sticking after shot, and would stick when reloaded into chamber. Sent it back to Remington and they are sending me a new rifle. The rifle was 1 1/2 years old...
