Hunt Report - 2016 LRH Group Coues Deer

Len I officially have a new favorite article by you. I really enjoyed reading about your adventure with those coues deer. The only thing missing from that article was me being there. Thank you for letting me live vicariously through you on this one.

    Foxpro Inc Inferno INF1 questions

I have an Inferno. As long as you use quality rechargeable batteries, as was already mentioned, you shouldn't have much trouble. The caller is not waterproof, but will hold up well unless it's a heavy down pour. It has decent volume and if you have a good fox population, and the wind isn't...

No, but it's nice to have options. :)

    Which FoxPro

I gave both the Shockwave and a CS24. Both are outstanding callers, but they are top of the line and their price reflects that. Worth every penny though. If that's too expensive for your taste either the Banshee or Hellfire should do about anything you'd need.

New to yote hunting, need tips for deep snow.

Simple really...find the deer, cows, sheep, or antelope and you'll find the coyotes.

    Never Quit!

So when it gets cold and most normal sane people choose to involve themselves with indoor activities. What do crazy Montana coyote hunter's do? We get all giddy, dress up like a snow man and go hunting of course. I have not been on here much lately. I've finally got my health back (I've been...

    First shot with new rifle...

Bullet performance wasn't too bad. It didn't blow up the coyote as bad as I thought it would it was about the same as what my 22-250 does to them.

    Never Ever Gets Old...

Catching big brookies never gets old! For those of you concerned that my position with FoxPro will distract me from fishing, never fear, I have to have a balance between fishing and coyote hunting to stay happy. In fact we had planned to make a quick coyote stand Saturday morning but got blown...

    First shot with new rifle...

This is what it looks like when the stars actually align and things go in my favor for a change. My youngest daughter wanted to go coyote hunting last night. I hadn't planned on going but after dinner the wind had settled and there was maybe 30 minutes of light left. She convinced me to give it...

A Little Fall Action (Great Colors)

I haven't been around much lately. Too busy with work, life, and sneaking in a fishing trip here and there. While I have been out calling a time or two, I'm having a streak of bad luck. I'm seeing coyotes, I just haven't been able to get a bullet into any of them for various reasons. Sooner or...

A Guy Leaves His Light on...

A guy leaves his light on and door open and look what happens...Al Morris and his dog Ted show up to kill some coyotes. I had an absolute blast hosting Al Morris, Jeff Writer, and Matt Piippo this week. We were specifically out to work the decoy dogs on as many coyotes as possible. We saw plenty...
