If I understand right (which I probably don't ), if I go shoot at 112 yards (which my short range is) and measure group height height above or below aiming point with your app and set it. Then your app will calculate correctly at whatever range you input and can go to the range card and find where your zero distance actually is.

Yes, but not just my app
any app that has zero height and zero offset it will fix the zero error

This was very timely. I'm on an elk hunt in Colorado and couldn't figure out why my rangefinder was not matching previous drop charts. I had inadvertently entered a 1.5" zero height in my app.

I also use that zero offset for several things. One is no suppressor or break, break only, 3 different bullets. I set my zero to the combo I use most often, then set up various variations for changes. Allows me to have my go to set zero and then variations as to load and muzzle device based on what I'm going to do. Very very helpful.
