Zeiss 3x12 Monocular as booster for rangefinding Binoculars

Has anybody used the Zeiss 3x12 Monocular as a 3x booster for the RF RangeFinder Binoculars to make a light cheap Spotting Scope?

I've seen threads about some other boosters but not the Zeiss.
