You are pulling bullets to harvest RL26.

I have always kept a couple pounds on hand for even though I don't use it as a go to load in any of my rifles. I tested with it a fair bit, but never found a load worth writing home about. Not much of a surprise given that I tend to favor light for caliber bullets. That all changed this week when I found a great load for my 300 WM with 196HH. I was loading some rounds yesterday to confirm drop data and reached for a fresh bottle and came up empty. After some head scratching, I remembered giving a pound to my niece's husband in 2020 when he was in a panic about an upcoming out of state hunt and I traded a pound to a buddy this spring to help him out. It was at this point when I remembered I had 18 rounds loaded with 215 bergers for an OCW test I never got around to shooting. That, plus the 500 or so grains I had left will be more than enough to finish testing and get through several hunting seasons. Crisis averted.

I'm considering using some new factory 7rm ammo to pull the 7mm bullets to load in my 280AI, and maybe sell the primed brass.

7mm bullets as a caliber are the hardest to acquire right now.

Learned my lesson under Comrade Klinton.
Ever since Slick Willey was in office I bought all my powders, primers and bullets in as large of amounts PER purchase as I could possibly afford. Made purchases at least 6-8 months of every year. Had a no exceptions rule of NEVER leaving a store that sold ammo or reloading components empty handed.

If I didn't buy another reloading component for the next 5 years I still could reload for another 10.

Tried to tell my friends who reload to stock up tried to convince my non-reloading friends who loved to shoot to either get into reloading or stock up massively on ammo.
Not surprised none listened to me.
Now I'm the SOB for being willing to sell my factory ammo and reloading components for what it would cost me to replace it and not what I paid for it 5-20+ years ago. Sorry but I'm not going to sell you 1k primers at $30 when it would cost me $120-$180+ to replace them.
