Well in that price range.i would.be.looking.at.two scopes

Vortex.PRS if.you are into the.tactical thing. HST has a lot of.the same fratures but cheaper

Luepold Vx-3i for.a lightweight hunting scope

If you can find one.the VX-6 3-18 is an awesome.hunting scope and have.had a huge price drop lately.
