I love watching golden eagles hunt. They often form hunting packs and attack rafts of waterfowl where I hunt on the Columbia River. Amazing birds, that picture shows you how much attidude they have.
I just showed these pics to my friend. He told me there was this woman biologist studying goldens while nesting. After a few attacks on herself. She made a life sized dummy of herself that weighed 150lbs, and put it near the edge of the cliff where the nest was located.
The eagle made a few divebombs on the dummy and literally picked up the 150 pound dummy and flew it over the cliff and dropped it.
