If they are out. They are targets.
I usually wait till the pups are out and running around a little. Shot one hillside years ago one spring, and just about wiped out everything. Haven't been able to shoot there in years. That's not a good thing on a few levels. Let the pups wean first.
Thank you friend. I hear you about overshooting a place. I shot them all out on a ranch I managed years ago and it took a few years before they came back. I guarded them closely after that.
