I dont know any NR who put in for elk... but I know a Resident who put in for turkey and drew it..ME..too bad I HATE turkeys and hate hunting them.. I torture myself with this all the time..This year my dad drew also so maybe itll be more fun... maybe its because I have never killed one... this year its revenge

Mike, it sounds like you need a turkey guide. Think of it as hunting elk during the rut only on a much smaller scale.
