I acquired an older Burris 6 - 18 AO target scope in a trade with a buddy of mine. It used to sit on a custon Mauser .25-'06 and I have personally seen this scope take 2 antelope, and have heard that it took several elk and many more antelope over the years. I'm looking for a Vari-X II 2 - 7 for a throw in the truck .30-'06 I'm putting together, and I'd like to trade the Burris for it. This Burris is fairly nice, but old and was probably made in the early '80s. It's not in too bad of shape, but it is used and does have ring marks on it. I think it would make a nice varmint scope for somebody just starting out. It does have 1/8" clicks but no target turrets. I believe Burris will replace turrets for a nominal charge.
If no trade comes my way I'd sell it for $150.
