I am thinking about trading my 223 for a larger caliber rifle. I have a Rem 700 SPS Varmint barreled action - action has been trued and lugs have been lapped. The action is smooth as butter ! Trigger has been replaced with what I believe is a Timney - wide finger pad adjusted to a crisp 2 pounds. The barreled action sets in a Bell and Carlson Medalist light tactical stock with butt hook - Tan web. Also has a Warne steel picatinny base mounted. This rifle shoots amazing - I have used it mainly for coyote hunting so it has never been heated up. It has been responsible for several dead yotes in excess of 500 yds. I have recently finished a 243 that will be my coyote rifle now so I do not shoot the 223 anymore. I would like to trade for a WSM (270, 7mm, or 300) Heavy barrel or possibly a 300 WM heavy barrel rifle. Let me know what you have if this interests you.
Thanks,
Mike
