I'm looking to sell or trade my Remington 700 Mountain DM. It's
chambered in .270 Win with a 22" barrel and has the detachable box
magazine. I bought it new two years ago and have put less than 300
rounds down it, but since most of my shooting is off a bench or a
blind I don't really need the lightweight setup. The gun is in
excellent condition--the bluing is 95% and the stock looks great with
no major dings, scratches, or cracks. I have the box, manual, and J-
lock key. Please note that the scope, rings, and base are NOT
included.
For those of you not familiar with the Mountain gun, it's the
lightweight version of the 700--it's got a more narrow stock, a
reduced-weight barrel, and weighs about 6.75 lbs.
I'm looking to get $575 OBO.
I'd prefer a FTF transaction around the Austin area, but can meet you
in the surrounding areas or ship to your FFL actual cost.
