Ok, I've decided to divest myself of some of my shotguns. I really don't want to, but I've been bitten by the rifle bug, my range is steel shot only, and the farm I can shoot occasional informal clays at has been sold. So, its best to give these a better home! I checked my records and I've had 27 311's go through my hands over the past few years. These listed below are the cream of the crop, and are honestly 98% or better. Most have barely been fired, some only a few shells.
I've posted a shipped price, but am willing to trade. Trade wants are listed at the end, but I'd really like more lever guns and am always on the lookout for Remington 700's. You may need a Yahoo account to see the photo links, otherwise I can send them to you.
1) Stevens 311D, 12 ga, 2 ¾", 28" barrels, modified and full chokes solid rib, 2 triggers, plastic buttplate. Bluing and case coloring are super nice - 98% each. Wood has some faint marks, but real nice, say 98% Very nice checkering on the grip and forend. $350 shipped to your FFL or C&R.

2) Stevens 311A, 12 ga, 2 ¾" 30" barrels, modified and full chokes, solid rib 2 triggers, plastic buttplate. Bluing and case coloring are again, very nice, hardly any use on this. Fired very little. The metal coloring is a bit better on this one than the above, about 99%. The wood is in nice shape with the exception of one scratch on the forend. The previous owner put some varnish over it. I'd call the wood 95%. Real sweet gun. $350 shipped to your FFL or C&R.

3) Stevens 311H, 12 ga, 26" barrels, 3" chamber, I/M chokes. 99% overall, metal is perfect, press checkering, wood is near perfect, could be sold LNIB. I am the 2nd owner. The original owner said he shot less than a box throw it at clays only and was never in the field. Looks that way! $375 shipped to your FFL.

4) Stevens 311R, 12 ga, factory 18" barrel! Not a cutdown. 3" chamber, C/C chokes, with box, looks never to have been fired! Rare. 100% $550 shipped to your FFL.

5) Stevens 311H, 16 ga, 28" barrels, modified and full chokes (they actually measure slightly tighter on my choke gauge, but I don't have the best gauge), original rubber pad, blued receiver. This is a later model gun and looks EXACTLY like the Fox Model B with the beavertail forearm and nicer wood. Actually, when I ordered it and opened the box, I thought it was a Fox B. The only difference is it's marked Savage Stevens 311 on the barrels! Super nice shape and super nice wood (not that beech stuff Savage used later on) that only has very, very light marks. A solid 99% on the wood. The case blue (the later ones were blued, not case colored), is 100%. The bluing is a solid 99%, with only a bit of wear about the size of the end of a pencil on the right barrel near the rib. You can hardly see unless it's pointed out. Before I bought this, I was told less than a box of shells have been through this and I believe it. I've owned many 311's over the years, and this is the nicest one I've seen. $495 shipped to your FFL.

6) 311H 20 gauge, 3" chamber, 28" barrels, choked M/F, 99%. This came from an estate and the guy bought this before he died and may have never fired it. $395 shipped to your FFL. Photos on request.
7) 311C, 20 gauge, 3" chamber, 26" barrels, choked I/M, but on my cheap choke gauge may be a bit more open. Bluing and case colors are 99%. Wood has some slight handling marks but still 95%. $395 shipped to your FFL or C&R.

I'd trade any of the above (+/- cash) for the following:
Ruger Single Six 22/22 mag prefer stainless with 4 5/8" barrel
Bond Arms 45 Colt/.410 prefer 3" .410, but would take 2 ½"
Taurus 410 revolver
Lever actions – would like a Marlin in 35 Rem, 45/70 or 450, others considered too.
Kel Tec P11 9mm or Kahr PM9
Remington 700's - lightly used
rimfire bolt guns
If you need references, I am halvey45 on ebay and have bought and sold a lot off AccurateReloading, the High Road and 1911forum.
