I have a Browning Safari barreled action in 243 that is in need of a stock for test purposes. The barreled action was made for Browning by Sako. It is a L579 action style and appears it will fit into an AII stock.
The action fits in my Sako AII stock except for the barrel channel. I am not going to open the barrel channel on my stock just to see how this rifle shoots. I need a donor stock to slap this barreled action into to take to the range. After shooting, I can determine if I shoot as is and get a better stock or rebarrel to another caliber.
Any ideas or help is appreciated. Hopefully someone has a spare stock to sell.
