If it helps proof told me to not us a light in anything over 24".
Yeah I was told by a few gunsmith to stay away from the sendero light for a magnum... I have a 300 rum almost finished with a 28" proof

They did but I can't remember.... I was thinking it had something to do with shooting out quick... but I can't remember... if u wanted to go with a smaller contour I'd go with the benchmark carbon barrel
I have other rifles. Have heard good things about these barrels and thought I would try a nice lightweight hunting rifle.
