I've never purchased a barrel for a rifle before, this 260 is the first rifle I've ever modified in any way

It's it's a take off barrel I guess it would all depend on the barrel. If it's a new barrel I'd just have to see what it is.

More than anything I was hoping to avoid a long wait by going this route

I have a take off from a 1st gen 700 Ti in 260 I'd take $160 shipped for. It was described as a new take off to me. It looks new.
