What a cool story. We use to find sheds all the time hunting and hiking but once people put a $ sign on them, that was the end, very unusual to find any now. It got so bad, they had to put a season on shed hunting.

I wonder if he ever hunted game. Also wondered why most antlers are white like a year old and if anybody helps him collect antlers. No matter what I'm amazed !

I agree. Trophies not $. I've never sold a single antler . I've kept, given away , displayed or made something from it.

But I can feel that comment, my in-laws are "collectors". They are great and amazing people, but I am not looking forward to the day my wife and I have to deal with the stuff. Nothing as cool as a barn full of antlers though.

I think i heard one of the guys on the Mountain Man show, who was hunting dropped antlers, say that the antlers sold for $18 per pound, ground. Think about that.
