For those of you who have this rifle, how do you like it? I'm looking to pick one up and could use some first hand knowledge on it.

It seems like a good deal and most all reviews I can find are positive.

Mine is not in 338 but I love it, have killed somewhere around 15 deer with it. I got mine the year they came out, whenever that was.

It's a shooter. Pictured below is mine, along with the first few shots out of it after getting it. 3 sight in shots (first shot low left, over corrected, then couldn't see the hit. On third hit I saw it, adjusted correctly.) then I did 4 shots, one in each corner target and then a 3 shot group in the center.

Wasn't quite 100 yards, my range at that section is 90-92 yards. Pretty darn close to 100 but want to be honest.

Mind you, that's how good of a group I got in 350 legend cartridge.

I want to get another one in a magnum caliber but they don't really make any in a round I'm interested in at the moment. If they had any of the nosler rounds I'd probably pull the trigger on a second one.

I talked one of my friends into buying one over the ruger he was looking at, I don't have any pictures of it but it's the camo composite stock in 6.5 creedmore. Easily .75moa with the first rounds we shot out of it. He told me he found some ammo that was .5moa at a later time, but most ammo he tried was 1moa or better.

They feel great in the hands too, especially the wood stock ones. If you're a taller guy you might need a buttstock spacer. I have a Winchester 70 as well and the XPR is noticeably shorter length of pull. I'd guess .5 to .75 inch shorter, which is great for me at 5'8, but if you're 6'4 you're going to think it feels like a toy and want a 1" spacer.

Also the magazine doesn't hold many rounds and they don't make any extended magazines for it even though it could definitely take them being a drop box style. Magazines you can buy for it are only like $25 so it's nice that you can keep a spare magazine ready, but I'd prefer if you could just have a 5-10 round mag that sticks down from the rifle. 10 round for 223 and the like, 5-7 round for the big boys like 300 and 338 win mag. Given the simple design I'm surprised no one has made a model to 3d print larger mags and buy springs to make them work.

They feed really reliably, I truthfully find the locked bolt feature a bit gimmicky but it definitely doesn't hurt and doesn't get in the way.

The balance is really nice if you just put a scope on it and shoot it standing.

Overall, especially given the price, I'd give it a 9/10. It would be a 10/10 if they could make larger mags for it. I don't need larger mags to be standard, as it feels nice with the flush mag. But it would be nice to have the option like the rugers do.
