My dealings with the Pre64.com folks have always been great. Keep in mind any original pre 64 model 70 part is going to be pricey.
Has the mag follower changed over the years? I have 3 generations of M70 CRF post PF and the follower is the sameMy dealings with the Pre64.com folks have always been great. Keep in mind any original pre 64 model 70 part is going to be pricey.
Yes, the newer models are different, more matching and sharper profiles, I like them.Has the mag follower changed over the years? I have 3 generations of M70 CRF post PF and the follower is the same
Thank you sir! The latest I have is made is S Carolina.Yes, the newer models are different, more matching and sharper profiles, I like them.
I have 3 Portuguese built EW's and they have the tightest fitting followers of any model I've dealt with, including New Haven models I still own.
Cheers.
Is your Model 70 a push feed action or controlled round feed? I have found the push round design to be more sensitive in feeding reliability due to weakened spring follower tension.Looking for the length measurement of the follower in a Win Model 70 in .375 h&h, 7 STW, 300 Weatherby or .416 REM Mag. Better yet to find one! Hard to source one so I am planning to Tig some to the rear of my shorter one to better fit the mag box and prevent bind. It's for my 458 WM+.
Any help would be appreciated.
