Wildcats on a .375 Ruger case?

A 6.5-375 Ruger is way higher than a 6.5x284, 6.5-06, 6.5-300wm by a long shot.

There are guys building them on here. Probably 1 of the most attractive cases to neck up/down today. No belt either.

These are H2O capacities to the top of neck and include neck capacity so the actual case difference between the 375 and the others is a little less than it appears and the 6.5-284 is actually almost identical to the 06

Yes, the 6.5/375 Ruger is way more capacity 6.5-284 but not the 6.5 RCM. The RCM is a shortened 375 Ruger made for short actions.

Here is a 338 variant of the 375 Ruger. Quick load estimates it around 2700fps with a 300gr. I did not chrono yet as I'm still working up. I'm at 83 Retumbo and nowhere near max yet.

Here is a 5 shot group with 300gr SMK and 80gr Retumbo. Not to shabby!

I've never heard of a 6.5 rcm, but I'd guess it's the 300RCM necked down to 6.5. There is no 375 rcm to my knowledge, just a 375 ruger, so necking that to 6.5 makes it a super magnum of some sort. I think the case capacity is closer to 99 according to wikipedia? I'm still a learner, but I do like the 375 Ruger case,no belt and not too long.

I know this is an older thread, but. I'm having a reamer made now for this cart. My thinking is it will do what I always wanted the 338 Win Mag to do but it lacked the capacity. . Do you have a thread on this build?? How do you like it now that you've had it for a while?
