I was wondering if anyone has had any success with 180 berger and reloader 33 in a stw. I know it's had good success with overbore cartridges. I've also seen where it's been played with in the RUM cases.
Who's tried reloader 33 in a 7th with 180 berger. Also a 7mm holy grail Norma mag imp

There's a local guy down here that has worked with it in a 338 Norma mag necked down to 7. He's gotten 3500+ from it with the 180s. Odd thing is that one day he gets bug holes out of and the next day a turkey shot pattern and back to shooting good a few days later. He calls it the total chaos load.
If you're ever ever around the central Virginia area ask at the local gun stores for Bobby Good Group, he'll tell you all about it.

Sounds like my stw with the 171 barnes (1/4 moa one day... 2 moa the next). Went to a tougher bullet (140 accubond) and the issues went away. I think some barrels react poorly with thinner jacketed bullets and some twists ( like my 10" twist) are rather borderline for the long match pills, so differing conditions will either allow the long pills to be shot or not. Funny thing is my 7rum eats the 171 barnes match with zero issues.
