These (according to the interwebs) seem to be outperforming the 215s and 230 hybrids in measured BC...a big thread on rokslide about hunting with them and a similarly large thread on the hide about folks abandoning berger 230s in favor of the 225.
Wanted to ask the experts over here. Anybody hunting with these and have comparisons on results compared to the berger hybrids (215/230s).
I was all set to have my barrel throated for 230s in my 300wm next week (26" 1:9) and my smith just recommended I look at the 225 ELD-M...yes not a hunting bullet according to hornady, but neither is the berger hybrid according to berger.
