Who shoot's Berger 195 EOL's in 7mm Mag???

I run the 195s out of my 7mm rem using N570. Fastest i pushed them was 2975 but brass only lasted 3 firings & were done. I backed charge down & am pushing them 2860fps. I have a 26 inch OMR 1:8 twist barrel.

I have a bunch of n570 that I will try. Didn't think I could push them as high as you have. 2975 is pretty fast. I have a 28 nosler that I may leave that to and use the 180's in the 7mag.

I am sure you are aware, but thought I would bring it up, RL33 and N570 burns hot so your throat will erode faster than using H1000.

Yes I read up on that. It's a hunting rifle so after load development it won't fire more than 30 times a year or so. Thanks for the heads up

A local guy I know runs 195's in his 7mm mag with retumbo and gets 2850. 26" bartlein barrel throated for longer bullets.

That being said, with how n570 runs in my 28 nosler and a friends 300 wsm with heavy bullets, personally I would start with the n570 in your 7mag and see what happens.

If you have a 28 Nosler i wouldnt bother with the 195's in a 7 mag

Got a 7mm Mag from a member on here recently. Going to play with the 195's. What powder's work for them in the caliber. I have N570, N565, RL 26, H1000, RL33. I really need Retumbo. And I need what your end result with these were as far as your load data. The barrel is. a 24" Proof 1:8. Top 3 folks that help the most there's something in it for ya.

I have had decent luck with the 195 EOL and RL33 in the 7mag I have a criterion 28 barrel I used the berger load data to get a start load. I hit pressure at 71.5gr though so I load them at 71gr I forget the oal it's in my book but it's was set .030 from the lands.
At 71gr my avg was 2915fps with a 13.63fps SD and a 37fps ES. I have shot them out to 500 yards and still held just over a 1inch group.

I have a blaser improved and use 195s with h1000 at 2850 fps out if a 24" proif 1:8. Also shot 184, 180, and 175. These sped up a little, but not enough to be any better ballistically. I only did one quick test with retumbo but didn't gain as much as hoped-for. N570 and rl26 likely will gain more.
