I have deprived thousands of primed brass, saved the primers, and used them again without any incidents. and no special care was taken other than wearing safety glasses when I de-prime the brass. and easing the decapping pin down inside the case instead of slamming it at full speed.
A little common sense goes a lot way.
Now, speaking of de primed primers storage. At a minimum, keep them stored in a place and a way where no sparks could get into the mouth of the container....preferably not near a grinder or bench vise where you maybe using a side grinder....Hee Hee!
