Which scope for my 20 Practical rifle?

I am building a 20 P with 22" pipe on my CZ 527 action. It needs a scope.
I have narrowed it down to:
1. Vortex Viper PST Gen II 5-25x
2. Athlon Ares BTR Gen II 4.5-27x

Please give me your opinion. I want to purchase soon.

Those scopes are too big for my taste. I like 4.5-14X or 4-16X for that application.

I have no time behind the Athlon. I do have 2 of the PSTIIs in 5-25 that have been flawless in dialing from under 100 to beyond 1000 yards. I would think the 3-15 would be ideal for a 20cal setup.

I have never owned an Athlon but they seem to get good reviews.
I have some really good Vortex scopes and I hear the warranty is fantastic(I've not needed).

Pst gen II. I prefer the bigger magnification. I just temporarily dropped a Nikon black 4-16 on my 20 tac tn while I wait for my element to come in. It will be wearing a 5-20x50 element nexus that's currently on my 22lr vudoo. Once the element titan 5-25x56 comes in for the vudoo the nexus sill move over

My 20P wears a 3X15 SWFA scope. That's plenty for the range of a 20P. The scopes you list will work fine, but you can get great results with less money and magnification. My 300WM I shoot to 1000yds wears a 5X20 and my 338 Edge which I shoot to 2K wears a 5X25.
