Which Handgun will you use this gun season?

I'm getting too old and feeble to carry 9 pounds of rifle, 80 ounces of handgun, and all of the other equipment associated with hunting.

With all of that stuff, I'd probably end up not getting a shot with either! 😁😉 So for me……it's one or the other! memtb
That's not a problem, I drive the Kubota up to the feeder, put my pistol and rifle into the rhino blind. Refresh the corn, drive a hundred yards away and walk back to the blind. If I kill something I call the neighbors to come help. I too am on decade number eight.

Already taken an antelope with my M48 Nosler 6.5 CM, this weekend I'll be taking my 209x45 T/C G2 Muzzleloader pistol for our muzzleloader season, then it will be rotating between my 41 Magnum's, my 10" T/C Contender and the Ruger SRH in the regular firearms season.

Please be aware of checking your regulations!

You can handgun hunt in PA. But your concealed carry permit doesn't cover hunting.
You need a Sportsman's permit.
And with that permit, for hunting, your pistol is treated as a rifle.
Aka not loaded in/on a vehicle.
And semi auto pistols are not allowed.

Made a sit today with the Blackhawk and Marlin. Of course the wind would be blowing 30 mph. Never saw a deer, did hear a few blowing. Not sure if they smelled me in particular as they were not in my wind, but didn't matter, nothing ever showed.

Got a Single Six to practice with. Much cheaper to shoot, and shoots just as good.

I'm starting with my 6mm-223 XP 100 and if I connect with that one then I'll switch to the XP 100R in.260 Remington. I have yet to kill a deer with either of these 2 pistols.
