Need help choosing best option. Rem 700 300 win for deer size game out to 500 yards. I can't decide weight of hammer bullets to try. I'm thinking 151 or lighter. Thanks

What twist rate and where will you be hunting? On their website, they recommend 1.5 stability.

150 and lighter will do fine in your rifle with your twist. Me, I'd go on down around 137 or so - but I like higher velocity.
Look at the Hammer Hunter and Absolute Hammer load data threads. You can see what others got. Make up your mind based on that. There are also some good threads on exactly what you're asking on the Hammertime Forum.

The one 151 will be fine. I settled on 166 in my wsm one hole.

I just finished load development in a 22" 30-06 with the 151 Absolute Hammer and settled right at 3200. You could obviously add a good bit to that velocity with the 300 win or WSM.

The 151 shoots great in my Rem 700 300WM. I ran it up to 3500 fps l, but groups started opening up. Settled on 3450.

Looking for flatter trajectory. All I'm going to hunt with it is whitetail deer.

I have considered them. I'm running 165 accubond in my wife's 300. I was just looking for flatter trajectory.
