Which Berger?

My son in law runs the 215 bergers in his 300 win with excellent results . I'm pushing the 230 berger in one of my 300 Rums at 3036 and I would take it for a Elk anyday ..
I'm typically grabbing one of my 338's when I'm going Elk hunting . Something about a 300 gr berger just makes me Smile !

I'm all truth the 215 or the 230 will suit you just fine if you hit them good !

As a generality within 700 yards I will ALWAYS choose peanetration produced by bullet weight for an elk or bear as i want my bullet to be capable of TRAVERSING OPPOSITE HIPS IF NECESSARY

I honestly believe a 225grn 338 cal barnes @2950 Is the BEST elk bullet I have seen.

A 245 berger 30 cal @ 2950 HAS TO BE IMPRESSIVE!!! LOL
