which 6mm bullet for long range

I'm running the 107SMK in my 6-284 w/28" SS Kreiger tube. Accuracy is awesome, but I cannot comment on terminal performance with medium game. BC on the 107 is published at .527 IIRC. BTW velocity I use in the Ballistic Calculator is 3380fps

6-284's seem to have that affect on people. I would have to say my 6-284 is my all around favorite too.

Even though I was stupid and had it built with a 1-12tw :(

It's pretty much your standard semi custom.

Rem. SA M700 Receiver
Lilja 1-12 #7 26in
MCM A-5 Desert Camo
Jewel trig.
NF 3.5-15x50 NPR1
NF Rings & Rail
Standard BDL bottom metal

This is my go to yote gun. I shoot 75Vmax and they make a mess of coyotes. My daughter is my yote hunting partner and she especially likes the BIG mess part. She's not much of a girly, girl.

I actually can't wait till it needs to be rebarreled. For two reasons. 1) The next barrel will be fast enough to shoot the 105's. 2) I really love my 6-284 but I HATE the cerakote job. The color is something between baby puke and baby sh$t and the cerakote got scorched around the action screw holes.

It will shoot well under 1/2 MOA all day long so certainly no complaints with how it shoots.

Wow, they could be brothers! lol I'm running a 700 LA on mine with a OAL right at 3.100 out of an HS Precision DBM....

I feel your pain on the bbl selection, my 6mmAI is a 1-12, runs like crazy with anything 85grns & less but.....
