Where's IN

midwesthunter:

You're not alone anymore! That range that you talked about is almost 2 hrs. from the house here, but I'm going to take a trip out there to check the place out. I need a place that I can shoot greater than the 350 Yds that I can shoot here in the backyard.

I work in Wakarusa, and live 2 miles South of Koontz Lake - 12 miles West of Plymouth.

Apparently Indiana is leaning Obama, and some other Midwestern States were contemplating moving IN to the Northeast :)

edge.

You are NOT ALONE HERE, my friend.
Hysterical Hoosier myself.

Easy to find IN.

Go where you CAN hunt whitetail with a rifle in a handgun cartridge:confused:

and where you CAN hunt whitetail with a handgun in a rifle cartridge:confused:

but YOU CAN'T hunt whitetail with rifle that shoots rifle cartridges
*unless it's with a CROP DAMAGE permit..AND out of season..THEN it's ok*

What the..........

TA DAAAAAAAAAAA HELLO? YOU'RE IN INDIANA!

Steve:

You CAN hunt whitetails with a rifle cartridge in a rifle. It's got to be a special cartridge tho! .358 or larger dia bullet AND max brass length is 1.62" (I'll bet you knew that already!:D)

The first one that comes to mind is a .25 WSSM necked up to .358 and shortened .020" just to ensure it's legal.....

I know it would be a LOT of work, but a .408 Chey-Tac shortened and necked to .375 or .358 would work even better!!!!!
